The Byrne Gallery is proud to present “To The Beach!” celebrating Summer at
its best! For July and August, this oil-on-canvas exhibition features majestic seascapes
and serene dune paintings by Gerald Hennesy, Shawn Hennesy and Lida Matheson
Stifel. These well-known Virginia plein air painters feature the soothing power of the
surf, the delightful calm of breaking waves, and the joys of blue skies and warm weather of Summer.
The exhibition opens July 3rd and continues through the end of August 2021. A
reception for the artists will be held Saturday, July 24th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and
everyone is cordially invited to attend and enjoy!

This class at the Middleburg Community Center is for EVERY BODY. Our slow flow, accessible yoga practice can help strengthen your physical and mental health. These sessions can help you be FABulouS by focusing on FLEXIBILITY, AGILITY, BALANCE and STRENGTH. Each practice includes a thorough warmup, balance and posture movements and ends with a deep relaxation session.
Advanced registration is required and you must bring your own yoga mat along with a blanket or towel. Blocks or straps are optional.
This class suitable for all ages and abilities. $20 per class.

This session will include a review of the history of the project; a presentation of the latest design development plans, including sketches of some of the interior layouts; presentation of the exterior design approved by the HDRC; discussions of the public amenities and community benefits included in the new Town Hall Project; an updated timeline of the project; and a question & answer period. Town residents and business owners are encouraged to attend to learn about the public amenities that will be available in the new Town Hall building, as well as about the adjacent green spaces.
Social distancing is no longer required in the Town Office. In compliance with CDC Guidelines, fully vaccinated persons are not required to wear a mask. Those who are not fully vaccinated are requested to wear a mask.
