More… Schools, Business & Individual Teams are invited to create a unique food can sculpture to go on display during "Art in the Burg". Participants create a sculpture using unopened cans of food. During Art in the Burg, patrons will vote on their favorite sculpture by making a cash donation. The sculpture receiving the highest dollar amount when tallied is the winner of the "CANS" Art Festival Award, which will be announced at 4:00 p.m. on the day of the event. 4'x6' tables will be provided to display the sculptures. If your sculpture requires a larger table, you will need to provide it. Sculptures must be set up by 9:00 a.m. on the day of the event unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Please do not damage cans or remove the labels! Embellishments are encouraged. All proceeds and canned goods will be donated to Seven Loaves Food Pantry in Middleburg. Less…
