Reminder The Town of Middleburg's utility operator, Inboden Environmental Services (IES), will be conducting limited maintenance flushing of fire hydrants this week.
The purpose of the flushing is to help remove any sediment that has settled in the water mains, and this flushing is important to completing maintenance work at the Well 4 Water Treatment Plant. Should you experience any discoloration of water, please run your faucets until it clears up. Please note that at all times the water in the system is treated and safe, even if slightly discolored. If you have any immediate issues or concerns during the flushing, you may call the after-hours number for IES at 540-325-0748. For any other questions, please contact the Town Office at 540-687-5152 during business hours.
