Sunday, September 8, 8am - 1:00 pmBe alert this Sunday. The annual MS 100 mile bike event will travel through Middleburg. The general path, we need to be concerned with, is on Rt. 50. However, there is a rest stop off of Federal Street in the lot used for the Farmer's Market. The PD will have officers working traffic to assist the riders with getting into and out of the rest stop. The good news is...not every rider will come through Middleburg, only a small percentage of riders actually take the 100 mile trek...we are in that section of the event. To that end, expect small groups coming through town from time to time between 8:00AM and 1:00PM . What you can expect: Roughly 25 bikes per hour or about in 100 in total for the day.
