In celebration the Middleburg Film Festival's 10-Year Anniversary, we are hosting a 10-Day Countdown by hosting events at various locations each at night from 5:30-7:00pm in the Town of Middleburg where a variety of speakers will be featured to share and highlight
different aspects of our local film history.

DC Area British Reliability Run

The British Reliability Run is coming to Middleburg on Saturday, October 1st from 7:30-9:00AM on 114 W. Washington St.

The DC Area British Reliability Run is a British car enthusiast's dream. Loosely modeled on the traditional reliability runs held in the UK for decades, our goal is to have fun driving classic British cars while, most importantly, raising money for a children's charity, Our Military Kids.

Blessing of the Animals - October 2nd

Join Emmanuel Episcopal Church and NSLM on October 2nd at 2:00pm for the annual Interfaith Blessing of the Animals. All creatures great and small are welcome to this joyful event. Ministers from several different faith traditions (Baptist, Catholic, Episcopal, Jewish, Methodist) come together to lead a short service. Then each animal and their family receive an individual blessing by one of the ministers. If it is difficult to bring you animal bring a collar, halter, or photo to be blessed. We can also bless one or two animals to represent a whole group.

Please bring your animal on a leash, lead, bridle or in a carrier. Animals must be up-to-date on their tests and vaccines.

Fall Fest at Lost Barrel!
NEW DATE - OCTOBER 8TH!

Join Lost Barrel Brewing in Middleburg, VA for Fall Fest 2022 on Saturday, October 8th featuring amazing various local craft beer, delicious food, live music and local vendors!

This is an all ages event and leashed dogs are permitted. Lost Barrel Brewing has a large parking lot and parking is always free. Lost Barrel Brewing offers indoor and outdoor seating available.

Worried about seating? Bring your own blankets and chairs for picnic seating! Breweries and vendors will be set up until 5pm.

*No ticket needed to shop vendors or visit Lost Barrel Brewing. Under 21 years no ticket needed to enjoy LBB grounds. Open to the public during festival*

68th Annual Virginia Fall Races

You won't want to miss the 68th Virginia Fall Races on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at beautiful Glenwood Park in Middleburg, Virginia! We will have a full card of racing featuring the National Sporting Library & Museum Cup and the Magelan Ohrstrom Bryant Memorial, as well as vendors, a food truck, and the best views in Virginia steeplechasing!

Races passes are no longer available

General Admission tickets are still available online and will be $50 per car the day-of at the gate - CASH ONLY

Chili Cook Off at The Pink Box - October 14th

The Middleburg Museum is having its 1st annual Chili Cook Off on October 14th at 6PM at the Pink Box!

There will be 3 judged categories: Best Meat, Best Veggie, and Under 17. And you can vote for crowd favorite. Music by Andre Fox, adult beverages from Lost Barrel Brewing and Mt. Defiance Cidery and a raffle while you enjoy the best chili in town.

$40 to enter the contest, $25 for chili tasting and 2 adult beverages, and $15 for chili only.

The Pink Box : Volunteers Wanted!

Do you like to talk with people? Do you like to talk about this great town and area? Do you like to give suggestions of the many things to do in this area? If so, volunteering and being a Docent at The Pink Box Tourist Information Center is for you!

The Pink Box is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

1000 Miglia Warm-Up Returns To Middleburg in October 2022!

We are excited that the 1000 Miglia is coming back October 18-23, 2022, with the official race happening on October 20-22.

The Town of Middleburg is once again hosting the 1000 Miglia Warm-Up USA event. This iconic event has a storied history in Italy, representing sport, culture, and community. Event participants will be hosted at the Salamander Resort & Spa and will depart each day from The Pink Box, the Town's Visitor Center at 12 N. Madison Street in downtown Middleburg.
