Route 50: Temporary Closures and Detours

Route 50: Phase 1 Closure July 17 - 20

The Town of Middleburg is informing the community of temporary closures and detours on Route 50 (Washington Street) for three weekends in July and August, beginning the night of July 17th. These closures are to accommodate work being performed by a VDOT Contractor to repair crosswalks throughout the Town that have failed and need reconstruction. All businesses will remain open during the closures and detours, as will all street parking not located within the construction zones. The Town will provide a map of available parking areas for visitors on the Town’s website. Pedestrian access to all businesses will be maintained, and sidewalks will not be impacted by the closures or detours.
