Bi-Annual Water Main Flushing: Week of April 20, 2020

Bi-Annual Water Main Flushing:
Week of April 20, 2020

The Town will be conducting its bi-annual water main flushing the week of April 20, 2020. The flushing will occur overnight and should not cause any direct impact to customers. Hydrant/water main flushing is important to remove any sediment that has settled in the water mains throughout the Town. There is the possibility of minor discoloration of water in your home or place of business. Should this occur, please run your faucets until the water clears. Please note that at all times the water is clean and safe to drink.

If you have any issues or concerns, please contact the Town Office during business hours (8:30AM - 4:30PM) at 540-687-5152 or the after-hours number for our Utility Operator (Inboden Environmental Services) at 540-325-0748.

Launching Resources to Market Your Business

Launching Resources to Market Your Business

Message from Loudoun County Economic Development Executive Director Buddy Rizer: This week brought mixed news for Loudoun businesses, as the SBA announced a temporary lapse in funding for the EIDL and PPP loan programs and Gov. Northam announced the extension non-essential business closure to May 8. In brighter news, local resources are on the way, starting with the launch of the Take Loudoun Home campaign, which will support more than 400 businesses into recovery. Whether your business is essential or non-essential, provides products or services, we invite businesses of all industries to join the campaign and take advantage of the combined marketing of Economic Development, Visit Loudoun and the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce. One important pillar of this program is the Loudoun Made, Loudoun Grown Marketplace, an all-new e-commerce platform to connect farms and rural business with customers. In the coming weeks, we expect to announce innovation grants to local businesses and explore other local funding opportunities. We're also promoting available jobs in the county, connecting businesses that are hiring with workers looking for employment. As you make plans for your business, please allow us to help. Call me or any member of our team, so that we can help you through these difficult times.
