There will be vendors focusing on health and wellness as well as expert speakers talking about topics related to brain health, and make sure to participate in one (or all) of 3 of the 'Walk Middleburg' routes! Free CPR Training, sign up at http://bit.ly/MWD-CPR For more information, Email: gogreen@middleburgva.gov Website: middleburgva.gov/wellnessday Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/GoGreen.Middleburg/ 300 W Washington
The Middleburg Go Green Committee has made the decision to postpone the 2020 Middleburg Wellness Day due to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus) crisis. The committee felt that it would be inappropriate to proceed with the event, particularly a wellness event where members of the public of all ages and health levels would be mingling in a relatively confined space. We will work with all exhibitors and sponsors to identify a suitable date to reschedule, and post a new date here. We all appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you soon.

Middleburg Community Center Hours UpdateDue to COVID-19 virus, the Middleburg Community Center has decided to keep their doors closed for any walk-ins and daily visitors. The MCC offices will be open for appointments by phone, email, or facetime. Current event bookings and programs that have previously been arranged will go on as planned. For current event bookings that will take place, we have taken extra precautionary steps to maintain an extremely sanitary facility - with a focus on highly trafficked areas like railings, door handles, bathrooms, and regularly used surfaces. As a Community Center that has proudly hosted events and programs to the public for over 71 years, we are taking things very seriously. Contact us with any questions. We apologize for the inconvenience. And if you are not feeling well, please stay home. We hope you all stay safe and healthy! Best Regards, MCC Staff

Help us out – be on the lookout! The Town has experienced instances where unauthorized contractors have connected to the Town’s water supply at fire hydrants in Town, causing a disturbance in the Town’s water system. Only the Town’s utility operator – Inboden Environmental Services (IES) – public safety officials, or contractors authorized by IES may use a fire hydrant. In addition, there are specific hydrants that should be used by outside contractors in order to minimize disturbances or damage to our system. If you see any suspicious activity around a fire hydrant, please call the Town Office immediately at 540-687-5152. If the situation occurs after hours, you may call the On-Duty Police Officer at 540-216-9787. Thanks for helping keep our water supply safe!
